Jessica Murray
Jessica Murray
Jessica Murray (she/they) is a neurodivergent queer daughter to immigrant parents from Hong Kong, and is Sierra Club Canada’s Ontario Director. Despite dropping out of law school, she remains a passionate advocate for conservation and housing as a fundamental right (for all species!). She is a grassroots organizer nestled in the intersections between urban planning, transit, sustainability, and rights for urban Indigenous locally in Toronto. She is also a yoga & meditation teacher, visual artist and ceramicist. As a devoted zen practitioner, she strives to bring integration between historically effective, yet often polarized, conflict-driven activism and “ultimate reality” – where borders and sides are transcended. She is mom to her beloved wildling twins who are almost 4.
