Founded in 2021, The Hoser is an independent investigative journalism, local news, and arts and culture digital media outlet that covers local news in the Greater Toronto Area. Its content is based in fact and accuracy and is accountable and accessible to young, racialized, and diverse people across the city, both as audience members and contributors. It publishes content that analyzes systemic issues giving a voice to people directly affected by issues who aren’t often interviewed in mainstream news media and strives to hold the powerful accountable.
