Rachel Cairns

Rachel Cairns is a Toronto-based actor and writer. She created Aborsh as a companion project to her solo show, Hypothetical Baby, which explores the practical and existential considerations in deciding to become a parent, or not. The first season of Aborsh was honoured with Planned Parenthood Toronto’s Choice Award for excellence in sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy. She also teaches filmmakers and actors at George Brown College and directs audiobooks for Penguin Random House Canada.
